For over 25 years Montana Claims Service has been the leader in the region by offering prompt, cost effective, efficient, high quality claims investigation and adjustment to the insurance industry, utilizing highly qualified, educated and experienced professionals. MCS maintains its advantage as a leader by providing continuing education courses to its professionals and support staff. MCS provides leadership roles in regional and state adjusters organizations. MCS utilizes state-of-the-art computer technology and software applications.

MCS answers emergency calls 24 hours per day over the entire states of Montana and Wyoming.

Company History
Montana Claims Service was originally incorporated in Billings, Montana in 1982. The Missoula office was opened in 1983. In the late 1980's the decision was made to expand in order to offer statewide coverage. Offices were opened in Miles City, Great Falls, Kalispell and Bozeman.

Montana Claims Service is the largest independent insurance adjusting company in the state. We specialize in Property, Casualty, Heavy Equipment and Special Investigations for the entire state of Montana.

What We Do
Montana Claims Service offers claims adjusting for the following:

Workers Compensation Trucks and Heavy Equipment Cargo Losses
Auto Appraisals Special Investigations Aircraft Settlement Conferences

Major loss investigation, control and adjustment are provided by experienced field adjusters.

Montana Claims Service has a network of salvage buyers for auto, heavy equipment and cargo claims. We also work, at client discretion, through salvage pools in the state.

Auto appraisals are done promptly and settlement information can be faxed or emailed to the client to facilitate quick settlements and to save time.

State-of-the-art computer technology software insures that your claim is handled promptly and accurately and provides a clear, concise line item recap of damages.

Montana Claims Service utilizes Robert Zepp as in-house counsel for the state. Mr. Zepp is a graduate of Gonzaga University (B.A. 1971) and took his law degree from the University of Montana (J.D. 1990). He maintains the Montana code annotated for statutory interpretation and subscribes to the Montana Law Review, Montana Law Week and other periodicals to stay current on case law in the state.
